It really helped me understand not only the Spanish language but also the structure of other languages. In the course of Span 345 Bilingualism in the World of Hispanic American: The Bilingualism course helped me in several ways, some of them were to understand how people that are bilingual used both language and how we learned and acquired a language. I learn how bilingual people used the code switching. The code switching was very interesting to learn, since it is something that is very common in people who speak two languages; it is the mixture of two languages when speaking it. Usually the code switching occurs when two languages are in contact. I learned about language development from childhood to adulthood. In the course of Span 303 Advanced Grammar: we learned how to conjugate different verbs and irregular verbs as well at advanced level. I improved my writing skills and how to write correctly with all the grammatical structure. In the course of Span 315 Introduction to Translation Spanish-English: I learned how to translate correctly in both language Spanish-English.
