Course Reflective Narrative:
In this introductory course to literature I learned about poetry and narrative stories. This course helped me to understand more literature, I learned about several Latin American and Spain writers. After having taken this course I already have the knowledge of being able to analyze narrative and poetry stories. I also learned how is the structure of a poem and to identified rhetorical figures, tropes, among many things more within a poem. The course helped me understand the different literary movements. Present with my group about a literary movement "mestisismo" It was a very interesting class since it expanded my knowledge about literature. In class we also had the opportunity to analyze a story or a poem. I did an analysis in the story of Juan Rulfo "is that we are poor" a story that made me one of my favorites, since Juan Rulfo shows in his stories poverty, social classes, and uses nature a lot in his stories. Another story that I read in Juan Rulfo's class was that of "You do not hear dogs barking" In this story as well as the one of "is that we are poor" Juan Rulfo also makes use of nature, and the characters are from rural areas of Mexico, since that is one of the styles of Juan Rulgo show the rural life of Mexico.
