Course Reflective Narrative:
This Course provided and overview of historical and cultural of Hispanic Latin American. I learned a lot in this course during the semester, I learned about history of each of the countries of Latin American. Before taking this course I only knew the history about Mexico and United States, but after taking this course I learned about the history of each of the Hispanic Latin American. I leaned how the majority of these countries got their own independence and how they suffer to get that indepence as a country. I learned how they became a country and also what is happening during the present. I learned about their culture, language, traditions, food, geography and so on. The part that was challenging for me was the part of geography we also had a final project in which we have to incorporate rivers, deserts, and history. It was a very interesting project but it was challenging for me because geography is not my strength. We also had a group presentation about a specific Hispanic country I did mine on Peru, so I learned a lot more about the country of Peru. We also had a presentation about the country that we did research. I definitely enjoyed doing that investigation because we have to relate one thing in the pass with one issue going on in the present. It was very interesting to me that research and the presentation that we had. Now I have an overview of each of the Hispanic Latin American countries. I liked that I learned about all this countries because now when I meet someone for one of these countries I would know about their history, language, traditions and food. It was a wonderful course I feel that I gain a lot of knodelege of each of this Hispanic countries.
